Food And Fiction: Agricultural Science And Food Crisis In Science-Fiction

From Saturday 11:00 until Saturday 11:30 (30 Minutes)

Participants: Caspar Roxburgh

With global population growth, climate change, and threats to land availability increasing the pressure on international agriculture, the science behind food production is becoming increasingly sophisticated and controversial. These themes will be discussed with a view to how they may provide rich subject matter for science fiction writers.
